Pw C Romania's Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) practice is looking to recruit a consultant to join our team. Pw C is the leading practice in tax, assurance and advisory and offers a diverse range of services and opportunities for newcomers to our organization.
The opportunity
We are looking to expand our CMAAS-State Aid and Eu Funds Assurance Team. As a Junior Consultant within the department you’ll work under the direct supervision of seniors and you will be in charge of managing different audit assignments under several framework contracts between Pw C and the European Institutions.
Since you will manage audit assignments worldwide, this role will involve travelling as well.

The role
Joining as a junior consultant in CMAAS, you can expect to be involved in a variety of interesting, challenging, and diverse projects.
That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines in order to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.

What you will be doing

• perform audit assignments on different thematic areas funded by the European Union or Romanian Authorities
• be in touch with the client and the auditee on a daily basis;
• be in charge of the preparation of the audit field work;
• work cross-border with different teams in different time zones using digital audit tools;
• closely monitor assignment deadlines and deliverables, ensuring that your projects run timely and efficiently.

What we need from you

• You hold an university degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy;
• Work experience of financial audit, consultancy or accounting services would be a plus;
• You have knowledge of, and experience in the rules and financial regulations of Romanian
• State aids, EU funding programs and EU funded projects;
• You are very fluent in English. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an asset.
