About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, with a focus on building integrations with SAP or other enterprise systems, managing My SQL databases, and working within Google Cloud environments. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing API layers that integrate various systems, ensuring seamless data flow and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
❖ Develop and Maintain APIs: Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate integration with SAP and other enterprise systems.
❖ System Integration: Lead and manage integration projects with third-party systems, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
❖ Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage My SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
❖ Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud, leveraging cloud services for storage, computing, and networking.
❖ Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and system architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
❖ Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and development standards.
❖ Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in high traffic environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
❖ Experience with PHP: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
❖ SAP Integration: Proven experience with SAP integrations, or extensive experience with general system integrations using APIs.
❖ API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
❖ Database Expertise: Extensive experience with My SQL, including database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
❖ Google Cloud: Experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
❖ Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
❖ Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
❖ Version Control: Proficient with Git or other version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
❖ Frameworks: Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Code Igniter.
❖ CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
❖ Security Best Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) make a call to action message
