Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you will:

Architect, develop and maintain complex infrastructure as code (Ia C) scripts and templates (e.g., Terraform) to automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure components.

Establish version control and CI/CD pipelines for Ia C to ensure code quality and traceability.

Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.

Ensure efficient integration with source code repositories, automating the release pipeline.

Architect and manage containerization solutions (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) for scalable and resilient application deployments.

Optimize containerized environments for performance and resource utilization.

Manage and evolve configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) to maintain consistent system configurations.

Implement automated software deployment strategies for complex applications.

Design and maintain advanced monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) to proactively identify and address issues.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization efforts to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

Collaborate with security teams to integrate security practices into the Dev Ops workflow, including access control, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Foster a culture of collaboration between development and operations teams, mentoring and providing technical guidance to team members.

Serve as a subject matter expert, promoting Dev Ops best practices and principles.

What about you?

Extensive experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or a similar role, with a strong focus on automating software delivery and infrastructure management.

Deep expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes, GKE/AKS/EKS).

Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell).

Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Relevant experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, etc.

Experience with other virtualization systems: VMware, Virtualbox, etc.

Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows.

Servers/daemons: Ngin X, Apache, My SQL, MS SQL Server, etc.

Networking for both on-premise and cloud environments.

Communication protocols: HTTP/SSL, Web sockets, TCP/UDP, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, BGP.

Experience in configuring monitoring & logging solutions.

English (written and spoken)

Relevant certifications:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert
