Project description

One of the leading European Banking Group is expanding it's operations in the area of internal pricing platform, a critical component in their Infrastructure landscape. Luxoft will support various key areas including Testing and Platform Services. This role focuses on advancing the system's monitoring and automation capabilities, ensuring robust and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in:

Systems Monitoring and Automation: Assess and enhance current monitoring tools, recommending improvements and developing strategies for comprehensive monitoring and automated risk management.

Dashboard Design: Design an end-to-end monitoring dashboard with advanced drill-down capabilities at the component/service level.

Logs Management: Define and document a comprehensive logs management process, integrating it with the proposed centralized log management process.

Troubleshooting Strategy: Develop a proposal for platform troubleshooting, focusing on integrated components and leveraging the centralized logs management process.

Solution Implementation: Recommend and implement suitable monitoring solutions and automation strategies aligned with IT risk requirements.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective monitoring and automation practices are applied.

Skills

Must have

Systems Monitoring & Automation: Strong background in systems monitoring and automation with hands-on experience in various monitoring tools and technologies.

Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in using tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, Nagios XI, or Solar Winds or similar

Automation Tools: Experience with CI/CD and testing automation tools such as Terraform, Git Lab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, JMeter similar

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Logs Management: Proven experience in defining and managing logs processes.

Nice to have

Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.

Linux: Working knowledge of Linux systems.
