The Role: Senior Lead Data Engineer
The Team : We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer for S&P Global Market Intelligence. This developer would help us to accelerate different initiatives within Energy Datasets.
The Impact: As a Senior Lead Data Engineer, you will be part of the development team that manages and supports the Internal applications supporting Energy Datasets.

What you'll be working on:
Architect, design, document and lead end-to-end the data-pipeline building process

Work collaboratively with all shareholders to reach a common goal.
Mentor, coach and guide team members to navigate through technical and agile processes

What We’re Looking For:
BS in Computer Science or Engineering
8+ years of software/data engineering experience using fast-paced Agile methodologies
Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark with Python or Scala, Snowflake, AWS EMR
Experience with at least one major cloud provider and in maintaining and developing software in production
Good working knowledge of relational SQL and No SQL databases
​ Location: Bucharest, Romania (remote work is also possible, but you need to reside within Romania)
