How you’ll make an impact:
We are seeking a talented, driven Senior Software Automation Engineer to join the Audio Go team.
In this role, you will be partnering with a very high-performing team of engineers that discover, design, build, own, and maintain backend services and products at scale. You will contribute to the testing and productizing of new features & new components for one of the DSP platforms of the Ads Wizz.

What you’ll do:

• Understand the business requirements, functional analysis and change tasks.
  
• Develop new robust automated tests, maintain and improve the existing regression suite in a functional and relevant state.
  
• Drive and influence testing & automation best practices inside the team.
  
• Collaborate with Product Owner and development team to understand requirements and define test strategies for new features and enhancements.
  
• Build complete and meaningful tests plans for the features you’re working on, making sure they cover functional requirements for the tested components but keeping in mind the entire product.
  
• Execute automated tests to identify defects, track issues, and ensure the overall quality of the software.
  
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
  
• Handover newly deployed features to product and UAT teams for end-to-end testing and help with defect analysis and investigations.
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automated testing techniques and tools.
  
• Mentor and provide guidance to other members of the quality engineering team on a per need basis.
  

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Developer in Test or a Software / Quality Automation Engineer with a focus on automated testing.
  
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
  
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Test NG, Serenity BDD, Cucumber etc.
  
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
  
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab).
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  
• Experience with RESTful API testing and relevant tools (e.g. Postman).
  
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Exposure to a variety of database platforms/warehouses such as My SQL, Maria DB, or equivalent.
  
• Experience with Linux / Unix commands and shell scripting.
  
• Nice to have - Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes.
