Slovak Interpreter - Full Time
About The Role
We are looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our team! We're currently recruiting for interpreters who have excellent English and Slovak language skills. This role can be either Remote or office based. Working hours are Monday - Friday 12pm - 4pm
Main Duties & Responsibilities
The role is to provide telephone and/or video interpreting for limited English speakers in the UK, for example Slovak nationals, to help them access critical services such as medical, council or legal.
Interpreting and communication must be effective and accurate. This is a highly rewarding job role that will challenge your temperament, your ability to think on your feet, and your linguistic skills.

In this role you will experience a diverse and varied number of situations in which you might interpret, including but not limited to:

• Medical appointments
• Meetings with public officials
• Legal matters and Immigration meetings
• Social Services
• Child Protection appointments

• Fluency in English & Slovak languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Pro-active and self-motivated
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Experience within a customer service / office-based role is advantageous
• Organises own time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, like active listening and empathy
• Team Player

To apply for this role you must be able to speak English proficiently. During registration, we will ask you to prove your English language skills by either providing a relevant qualification ( e.g. IELTS or CEFR) or we will conduct a language assessment with you.
