System Optimisation Specialist

DP World, the global leader in port and logistics operations which handles more than 10% of world trade, is seeking a motivated and eager to learn System Optimisation Specialist to join our team in Constanta, Romania .

Your Responsibilities:

Carries out activities and tasks to ensure the operational functionality of the terminal systems, aiming to meet SLA targets as closely as possible.
Reproduces and reports errors or issues according to company procedures, with the goal of resolving functionality and stability problems.
Provides support for general issues, updates, installations, functionality, and stability of applications, contributing to user efficiency.
Maintains the integrity of data transmitted between NAVIS solutions to ensure data consistency.
Optimizes TOS modules as needed to maintain optimal configurations at all times.
Periodically participates in projects in the role assigned by the project manager.
Develops procedures for utilizing information related to terminal operating system activities.
Develops and implements new EDI transmissions as necessary, in compliance with SMDG standards; configures and maintains communication with transmission partners.
Monitors the communication interface with clients (email) and takes proactive steps to ensure prompt communication, providing solutions as needed.

Your Profile:

Higher education studies in IT or similar field.
Approximately 3 years of experience on a similar position, preferably within the Transportation & Logistics industry. Previous experience in working with terminal systems would be highly desirable.
Full professional working proficiency in the English and Romanian languages.
B category driver’s license.
Proactive mindset, oriented towards continuous performance improvement.
Ability to accurately assess own performance and results.
Customer-centered approach, addressing issues promptly and proficiently.
A great team player, who recognizes and values the perspectives and insights of colleagues.
