Job Summary:
College in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified and experienced Cybersecurity Instructor to join our academic team. This position offers the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students in the exciting field of cybersecurity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, information technology, and cybersecurity, as well as the passion to inspire and educate the next generation of female professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction on cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices to undergraduate students.
- Teach courses in cybersecurity, including but not limited to network security, ethical hacking, risk management, encryption, and incident response.
- Develop, update, and review course materials, assignments, and exams to ensure they meet the latest industry standards and practices.
- Provide guidance and support to students through mentoring, tutoring, and academic advising.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity and incorporate them into teaching and learning activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity labs, workshops, and simulations.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve performance and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to contribute to the academic goals of the department and college.
- Maintain a professional and respectful classroom environment, encouraging student participation and engagement.
- Participate in academic committees, faculty meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, CISSP, Comp TIA Security+, CEH, CISM, or similar.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of teaching or industry experience in the cybersecurity field.
- Language Proficiency: A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent English proficiency).
