Job Title: Senior/HSE Officer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior/HSE Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe work environments by developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to minimize risks and enhance compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive site inspections and report any unsafe conditions or practices.
• Submit safety observations using management system tools for effective tracking.
• Assist project management in implementing and maintaining HSE policies and programs.
• Oversee HSE compliance for multiple subcontractors to ensure alignment with safety standards.
• Lead toolbox talks and induction training to maintain safety awareness and knowledge.
• Perform regular workplace and equipment inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Aid in preparing Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments with senior HSE staff.
• Regularly verify the proper use and authorization of work permits.
• Maintain thorough records of HSE checklists, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Report incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Implement and manage project-specific emergency response, fire safety, and rescue plans.
• Support internal audits to continuously improve HSE performance and practices.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Substantial experience in HSE roles within construction, fit-out, or related industries.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methods, and compliance standards.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work on various projects across different locations in Saudi Arabia.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Certification: Holding recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
