Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Project Director to lead our railway infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of this large-scale railway development, ensuring its successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Project Director to lead our railway infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of this large-scale railway development, ensuring its successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project management strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the railway project
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, making critical decisions to keep the project on track
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, and community representatives
- Ensure compliance with local and international railway standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders, both internal and external
- Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and project sponsors
- Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree in Project Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 20 years of experience including railway project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of railway systems, infrastructure, and industry regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
- Excellent project management skills, including budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Experience working on international projects, preferably in the Middle East
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern construction practices and regulations (preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
