Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out Projects

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, cost estimates, and bill of quantities for fit-out projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify quantities, identifying any potential cost deviations.
- Evaluate and negotiate costs with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best value while maintaining project quality.
- Manage the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract to ensure accurate and fair valuations.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and cost control documentation for submission to clients and stakeholders.
- Assist the Project and Estimation teams with value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare financial and progress reports to provide insights into project costs and value, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct post-contract cost analysis, producing a final project cost report and documenting lessons learned.
- Keep up-to-date records of market rates, materials, and labor costs for accurate pricing on future projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the fit-out or construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of fit-out project cost structures, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and quantity surveying software, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy for measuring and valuing work.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
