Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects to join our team for the prestigious Diriyah Gate Tunnel Construction MEP Fit-Out project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the project's financial and contractual aspects, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and control budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts for MEP-related works.
  
• BOQ Preparation: Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project requirements and design documentation.
• Tendering and Procurement: Support the procurement process by evaluating bids, negotiating terms, and preparing contract documents for MEP packages.
• Valuations: Conduct interim valuations, prepare payment applications, and ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups.
• Variation Analysis: Identify, assess, and document variations in MEP works, ensuring claims and adjustments are well-substantiated.
• Cost Reporting: Provide regular financial reports, including cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections, to stakeholders.
• Coordination: Work closely with the project team, including engineers, planners, and contractors, to ensure alignment on cost and scope.
• Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project budgets.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial and contractual activities adhere to local regulations, project specifications, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
    
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 5 years in MEP projects.
  • Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, contract administration, and BOQ preparation.
  • Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with industry software such as Auto CAD, Primavera P6, and cost management tools.
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • RICS, AIQS, or similar accreditation.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
