Safety Engineer

- Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA) • Interpret Nesma HSE program / KPI • Site Advisor • Inspect Safety at work area and ensure safety protocols are always followed at construction sites to prevent accidents, injuries or near-misses. • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures on construction sites • Conduct safety audits and regular inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies and implement preventive and corrective measures • Conduct safety training sessions for construction staff and workers • Conduct safety drills to assess the readiness of the construction team in case of an emergency or disasters. • Investigate any incidents, accidents and near-misses to determine the root causes and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. • Develop and implement safety emergency response plans and procedures to handle any potential incidents, emergencies or disasters. • Prepare and present safety reports to management
- Bachelor Degree in Safety Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Any Discipline) • OSHA 30Hrs. Construction • Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or similar role in the Construction Safety. • Thorough knowledge of HSE regulations and industry practices. • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. • In-depth knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices. • Deep understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and risk management. • Very good English communication skills
