Job Description

Job Summary:
  • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive for Welding Equipment to join our team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales leads, prospecting potential clients, and closing deals related to welding equipment and related accessories. This role requires an individual who has a strong background in sales and a thorough understanding of welding equipment and its applications.
Job Responsibility:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth for welding equipment and related accessories.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients and building relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new products.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, demonstrations, and product trainings to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of the benefits, features, and applications of welding equipment.
  • Negotiate and close deals, including pricing, delivery, and payment terms, while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, operations, and technical support to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis, and provide feedback to the management team on opportunities, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in sales, preferably in the welding equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of welding equipment, accessories, and relevant products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to close deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Canvassing the market by meeting daily with customers through sales calls
  • Market analysis and suggest actions
  • Understand market changes and support budget analysis within their product range and segments
  • Develop new customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
  • Promote complete product
  • Negotiate and quote prices and terms of sales, agreements based on company Pricing policy, Contract structure and defined Authority Matrix.
  • Negotiate the payments terms & follow up the account’s receivables.
  • Maintain customer records
  • Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Providing prompt follow-up to customers
  • Prompt preparation for all required sales reports
  • Provide feedback to management on customer activities, competitor activities, competitor pricing, product development needs and marketing tools.
  • Achieve collection targets and support company financial KPI’s
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager

Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and persuade customers to purchase welding equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of welding equipment and related products, including various types of welding machines, accessories, and consumables.
  • Exceptional understanding of the market and industry trends to identify potential leads and opportunities for business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills to showcase the features and benefits of welding equipment to potential customers.
  • Proficient in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track sales activities, manage leads, and maintain customer records.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and recommend suitable welding equipment solutions.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, managing sales cycles from prospecting to closing, with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales support and technical departments, to ensure customer satisfaction.
