Senior Associate/AVP, Japan Coverage, Global Private Equity, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About our client

Our client is an established, international investment firm looking to expand its high-calibre direct investment team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be joining a top-tier name that is globally recognised.

This position will focus on direct private equity investments across sectors, covering the Japan region. You will apply your investment experience in Japan and language skills to become a valued member of the team. What the job involves

• Sourcing, analysis, and execution of investment opportunities across sectors in Japan
• Conducting due diligence and financial modelling
• Deal structuring and negotiation
• Creation of all investment committee materials
• Support monitoring of portfolio company performance

Who we are looking for

• Experience from a top-tier private equity firm, sovereign wealth fund or investment institution (exclusively investment banking experience would not be suitable for this position)
• Previous experience investing or covering the Japan region for a financial institution (fund, asset manager, investment bank etc)
• Fluency in Japanese is essential
• A degree from a top-tier university
• CFA and/or MBA is desirable
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness and ability to relocate and be based in Saudi Arabia full time
