JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Senior HSE Manager to oversee our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) efforts. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing HSE strategies that adhere to industry standards while fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. Your leadership will be vital as we strive to meet compliance requirements and enhance operational safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE management system and ensure its continuous improvement across all projects.
• Develop, implement, and update HSE policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate HSE performance, conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments to drive improvements.
• Provide training and support to staff and contractors to enhance HSE awareness and accountability.
• Collaborate with project management teams to incorporate HSE considerations into all phases of project planning and execution.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring alignment with laws and standards.
• Prepare detailed HSE reports, identifying trends and suggesting proactive measures to enhance safety.
• Remain current on HSE best practices, technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the construction or project management sectors.
• Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar) is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HSE regulations and best practices applicable in the region.
• Demonstrated success in implementing HSE programs and achieving performance targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
• Proficient in risk assessment and management methodologies.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments while maintaining focus on safety standards.
