We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Officer/Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling supplier invoices, preparing payments, and performing monthly reconciliations. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently. Candidates with relevant experience in the accounting field are encouraged to apply.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Circulate supplier invoices to various departments for verification and approval before posting.
- Prepare and process supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of creditor statements of accounts.
- Assist in preparing journal entries for monthly account closing.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the management.
- Minimum of NITEC or certification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kerridge Commercial Systems would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a diligent work ethic.
- Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am - 6:15 pm; one Saturday per month, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
- Location: Ubi Road (East region).
- Rest Days: Every Sunday off.
- System Used: Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS).
