Child Care Associate (Sunbeam Place)

- Oversee, monitor and attending the medical needs and well-being of residents in the Home.
- Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are carried out properly in recording, safe-keeping, disposal, and administration of medication.
- Review SOPs periodically to ensure compliance with Standards of Care and best practices.
- Maintain the medical stockpile and keep accurate inventory information. Ensure sufficient quantity for usage in the dorms.
- Attend to medical related queries from staff members.
- Develop, plan, and implement health and wellness activities to promote healthy living and active lifestyle within the Home.
- Assist the Child Development Team in activities, events and other administrative duties as required.
- Diploma in Nursing
- 2-3 years' nuring experience, preferably in a social service agency
- Ability to manage the medical needs of the residents with minimal supervision.
- Knowledgeable and sound in nursing theories and practices
- Proactive and having initiative to look at improving work processes.
- Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work after office when required i.e. send resident to hospitals/clinics for emergency medical attention.
