- Schedule and track hardware maintenance, racking and stacking of servers.
- Manage access of employees and contractors into the Server Rooms, Network rooms and Data Centers in APAC region.
- Reviewed and documented Data Center procurement process of the Data Center team, which includes setting up a proper tracking system on Share Point to trail all patch panel/structured cabling purchases.
- Review and documented process for Disk Handling and Destruction.
- Followed up with incidents i.e. Life cycle management/faulty equipment.
- Followed up with Global Switch CRAC replacement activities including liaising with contractors on plans to mitigate service disruptions during CRAC replacement.
- Remediate runbook record differences.
- Build servers
- Includes liaising with Network team on subnets/IPs and VLANs.
- Running of scripts to load ESXi OS onto servers
- Building test Virtual Machines (VM), RHEL & Windows
- Vaulting of credentials
- Troubleshooting server issues such as faulty cache or storage disks; liaising with Data Center Services and Maintech contractors to rectify faulty servers.
