About Us: Techedge Solution, a leading IT Staffing & Data centre solutions provider, seeks an experienced and skilled Desktop Engineer to join our IT team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to provide technical support for our desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills in Mandarin, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Provide level 2 technical support for desktop-related issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
• Manage and maintain desktop images, group policies, and software updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office, Windows, and other applications
• Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues
• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Conduct hardware and software inventory management
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades
• Adhere to IT security policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 2+ years of experience in desktop support/engineering
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and desktop hardware
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Mandarin-speaking)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with ITIL framework (desirable)

Nice to Have:

• Certification in Comp TIA A+, Microsoft MCSA, or equivalent
• Experience with desktop management tools (e.g., SCCM)
• Knowledge of IT security best practices

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
