Job Title: Educational Support Teacher (Early Years)
Location: Singapore - Multiple Locations


Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Teacher to join our esteemed customer, specializing in early years education. The ideal candidate will provide individualized support to young learners, fostering an inclusive learning environment that addresses the diverse needs of children early years children.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring additional support.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans, activities, and materials to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support children’s learning in literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate young learners.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress, identify areas of need, and adjust support strategies accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other educators to share progress, set goals, and ensure a coordinated approach to each child’s development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and support activities.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that encourages positive behavior, self-esteem, and social development.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and special education.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in an inclusive or special education setting.
• Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and learning styles of children.
