Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Operations Manager to oversee our financial operations and administrative functions. This role is crucial in supporting the company’s financial health and ensuring efficient administrative processes across our Singapore, Malaysia, China and Vietnam offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, accounting, hr and administration, preferably within the creative or media industries.


Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for our Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam offices.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Responsible for full set of accounts
• Conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Responsible for GST/CIT Filing or equivalent.
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations and standards for various tax jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents or government agencies where necessary.
• Handle work pass applications with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Administrative Oversight:

• Supervise day-to-day administrative operations, including office management and facilities.
• Implement and improve administrative processes and policies.
• Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure alignment on administrative needs.
• Work with the video production team to schedule shoots and other activities.

Project Support:

• Collaborate with production teams to monitor project budgets and expenditures.
• Provide financial insights and support for project planning and execution.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors and clients.

Team Leadership:

• Support CEO to co-lead Bestfoody sales and operations team and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
• Follow up with the sales department to meet monthly sales targets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and administration, with a preference for experience in the media or creative industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial management software and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.
