HR Manager

Meranti Power Pte Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is establishing a multi-discipline project team and corporate team to facilitate and ensure timely implementation of power generating station projects and thereafter, operation and maintenance of the power generating station. We are inviting applicants for the position of Human Resource (HR) Manager who shall report to the Head (Human Resource). The scope and requirements are as follows:

The HR Manager shall report to Principal Manager, Human Resource and assist in the areas of

Responsibilities:
Human Resource:

Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions and processes, including training and development, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, etc
Liaise with outsourcing vendor for payroll and other HR functions

Learning and Development:

Develop and implement learning plans and initiatives systemically
Formulate and develop Career Progression tracks

Requirements:

Education in any discipline
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and in training and development.
Results focused and willing to work under tight schedule with multiple stakeholders including management, employees, contractors, suppliers and authorities.
Willingness to go beyond defined scope of work to render help where it is needed within the small corporate set-up
Well-versed in Employment Act, local laws and regulations.
Possess strong writing and communication skills
Willing to work in construction site office during construction stage and Jurong Island. (Morning transportation pick-up points available at different parts of Singapore.)
