Job Title: Marketing Communications Assistant

Role:
The ideal candidate that we are looking for, will work closely with both the marketing and sales teams to help craft and communicate marketing messages that support the overall sales strategy. Your role will focus on providing the sales team with the necessary tools, materials, and content to engage prospects, close deals, and retain clients. You will also support various communication channels to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms, helping to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing communications while working alongside sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of sales support materials such as, presentations, case studies, product sheets, and proposal templates.
· Ensure that all sales collateral aligns with the brand guidelines and communicates key messaging that resonates with target audiences.
· Coordinate with the sales team to identify their content needs and ensure they have up-to-date and relevant materials to use in their outreach.
· Collaborate with sales teams to ensure they are aware of ongoing marketing campaigns, promotions, and product updates that can help them with prospecting and closing deals.
· Support the creation of content that enhances the sales process, including customer testimonials, success stories, blog posts, and email templates.

• Support lead generation efforts by helping develop email sequences, social media posts, and landing pages that capture and nurture leads.
• Help monitor and analyse the performance of lead-generation activities, working with sales to ensure that leads are appropriately followed up on and converted into customers.
• Prepare regular reports on the performance of sales-related marketing initiatives, sharing findings and recommendations for improvement with the sales and marketing teams.
• Help create event materials, such as brochures, banners, and digital assets, ensuring they support the sales team’s objectives at events.

Requirements:

• Local Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or in any related field. No experience is welcome to apply.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, compelling messages to both internal teams and external customers.
• A passion for supporting sales teams, with a desire to learn how marketing strategies align with sales objectives.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially marketing, sales, and product teams, to achieve common goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Ability to maintain high attention to detail, especially when preparing sales materials or tracking campaign performance.
• Willingness to adapt quickly to changing business needs and marketing strategies.
