What you will do
- Support the legal team in the day-to-day operations including proofreading, filing, updating, and management of documents;
- Manage database including keeping and updating company information in relation to Equis’ entities;
- Work closely with Equis’ Global Legal/Co Sec team in relation to various corporate governance matters and provide assistance as required;
- Assist with drafting, execution and upkeep of corporate secretarial documents including but not limited to calling board meetings, shareholder meetings of relevant Equis entities;
- Assist the legal team in relation to third party due diligence and risk management and maintaining internal compliance records;
- Assist with compliance and regulatory matters and maintaining good record keeping practice;
- If required, attend meetings and take notes;
- Liaise with in-house finance team and external counsels in relation to invoices and payment of legal fees;
- Keep a good record and filing of all legal documents in the Singapore office (hardcopies and electronic files); and Other legal and administrative support for lawyers as requested.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience (at least 5-7 years)
- Prior experiences in corporate secretarial and/or paralegal functions preferably at law firms or legal/compliance team of a corporation preferred
- General understanding about corporate and commercial laws preferred
- IT savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy and details Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work well independently as well as in a team
