About the programme
The Young Hearts (YH) Programme aims to give children and youth from lower-income families a leg-up in life and develop them into socially-responsible citizens via four key elements: Tuition, Enrichment Workshops, Outings and Mentorship. The success of the programme is hinged on the Community Engagement efforts to create brand awareness on the ground.
JOB PURPOSE
The Programme Coordinator provides general operational support to the team. The incumbent must be willing to engage the communities meaningfully on weeknights and weekends when necessary.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of the programme, including but not limited to assessment forms, case files, volunteer records and reports in the database management system

Operations
  • Conduct regular home visits
  • Ensure programme has a pool of regular trained volunteers
  • Maintain good relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Plan and participate in Educational and Enrichment programmes, and Excursions
  • Support outreach efforts to build community awareness about the programme
