- Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including making of beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and follow up on guest requests.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned and in order to adhere to health standards.
- Collect daily allocations of rooms and keys. Ensure worksheet is kept up to date throughout shift, and keys are signed out & kept securely.
- Clean and maintain corridors, service areas, replace amenities in guest room if necessary and disposes off rubbish correctly.
- Report promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department and to their respective Assistant Housekeeper.
- Report any odd occurrences, irregularities, carpet cleaning requirements, pest infestations, etc. to their respective Assistant Housekeeper promptly to counter loss to the company
- Maintain knowledge of the hotel and local area.
- Provide Turn Down Service when required.
- Undertake other duties as requested by Department Head.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts including Public Holidays and weekends.
- Applicants with prior or related experience in housekeeping are welcomed.
- Able to work under pressure and fast paced enviroment.
- Good Team Player.
- Basic English Language proficiency will be of an advantage to avoid miscommunications.
