Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative producer with a passion and aptitude for documentary story-telling.
Your work will involve ideating, researching, and producing compelling content for the CNA channel that can appeal to audiences - both local and international - on television and online.
You will work on both original current affairs programmes as well as client-commissioned content. You may also help to produce televised forums.
You will be working in a highly collaborative environment that combines the synergies of teammates specialising in TV and digital/social platforms, to generate content that can sit with versatility across the spectrum.

Qualifications

Requirements:

A flair for compelling storytelling, both in words and visuals. Must have good writing ability and excellent command of the English language.
Production experience is a must. Provide a link to your portfolio showcasing your video work
Strong interest in current or international affairs, with a good knowledge of local and regional issues
A sound, analytical news sense of what is important/significant, and the ability to discern what different target audiences want to know.
Meticulous attention to detail/accuracy is a must
Thrives on collaborative give-and-take, is a team player; while also being resourceful, self-driven and able to work independently
Good time management and organisational ability so as to meet deadlines

Skills

Strong interest in current or international affairs, with a good knowledge of local and regional issues
A flair for compelling storytelling, both in words and visuals.
