We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our back-of-house team.
As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards, supporting team training and development, and ensuring seamless hotel operations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support the back-of-house team in training and development initiatives

• Perform daily pot-washing and dishwashing duties with precision and efficiency

• Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards in all back-of-house areas, adhering to scheduled cleaning protocols

• Handle hazardous substances with care, complying with Health and Safety guidelines and regulations

• Report any equipment faults, misuse, or damage to management

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently, following Hilton's Health and Safety Manual

• Assist in equipment storage, movement, and stocktake as required

• Foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues, promoting a collaborative work environment

• Provide support in hotel operations as needed
  

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods

• Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols and procedures

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
