In 1996, Hisense officially entered the South African market with product lines covering televisions, refrigerators, mobile phones, washing machines, air conditioners, and other products. Its sales channels covered over 5,100 stores within South Africa and radiated to more than 10 surrounding countries in Southern Africa, such as Namibia, Zambia, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe.
From 2012 to the present, Hisense's product sales in the South African market have been increasing year by year. As of 2019, Hisense's refrigerators had a sales volume share of 29% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue also at 26% and ranking first. Hisense's televisions had a sales volume share of 26% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue at 24% and ranking second.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Description:
Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across all channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and PR.
Copywriting & Content Creation: Write, Design and approve compelling content for social media posts, newsletters, PR articles, and other digital platforms.
Campaign Management: Strategize, brainstorm, and manage digital campaigns. Collaborate with partners and retailers.
Website Management: Maintain and optimize the Hisense website, ensuring it aligns with the brand's digital goals and provides a seamless user experience.
Growth & Engagement: Drive online growth, engagement, and brand awareness through effective social media and newsletter strategies.
Public Relations: Act as the Public Relations Manager, building and maintaining positive relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders.
Event Management Assistance: Plan and execute digital marketing tasks regarding events and assist the marketing team in event executions.
Budget Management: Oversee and manage all digital marketing budgets, including payments of digital retainers and financial planning for campaigns.
Team Collaboration & Management: Collaborate with the service team for community management and monitor digital performance across websites and social media.
Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on digital performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and strategies.
Required Skills:
· Must have strong design/ content creation and copywriting
· Canva, or any other design tool
