As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled IT Audit Consultant to join our team and help ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of IT systems and processes.
Role Overview:
The IT Audit Consultant will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of our clients' IT infrastructure and security controls. You will conduct comprehensive audits to evaluate compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies, providing valuable insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance cybersecurity postures.

Pay: R50 000,00 - R110 000,00 per month

Role Overview:
The IT Audit Consultant will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of our clients' IT infrastructure and security controls. You will conduct comprehensive audits to evaluate compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies, providing valuable insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance cybersecurity postures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and report on IT audits, assessing the effectiveness of controls and security measures in place.
- Evaluate compliance with cybersecurity standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement in IT systems, processes, and governance frameworks.
- Provide detailed audit findings and recommend remediation strategies to enhance security and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure audit objectives are clearly understood and met.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, IT audit methodologies, and relevant regulations.
- Assist clients in implementing corrective actions to address audit findings and maintain compliance.
- Support continuous improvement of audit processes and tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity, or risk management, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Experience in evaluating IT controls, risk management, and cybersecurity practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex audit findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and IT audit practices in African markets is a plus.
