*About Us: Autism Western Cape is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. We provide advocacy, education, and support services to promote inclusivity and empower individuals with ASD to reach their full potential.
*Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Managing Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of the organization, including strategy development, program implementation, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement.
*Key Responsibilities:
*- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery
- Foster partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders, including government, NGOs, and private sector organizations
- Oversee fundraising and resource mobilization efforts to ensure organizational sustainability
- Ensure effective governance and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Represent the organization in various forums and events
*Requirements:
*- graduate qualification in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management or leadership position
- strategic planning, program management, and fundraising
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about supporting individuals with ASD and their families
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector and regulatory requirements
