Your responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:- Compile and issue RFQ documents.
- Commercially analyse, evaluate, negotiate and award commercially sound Purchase Orders.
- Commercially administer the Purchase Orders during the cycle of the Purchase Order.
- Verification and authorisation for payment of Vendor invoices on a monthly basis.
- Meet critical and stringent project schedule and budgetary requirements.
- Effective close outs of Purchase Orders at completion of the works.
- Ensure that all documentation is at the correct revision.
- Ensure that all equipment ordered is within budget.
- Ensure that the quality procedure is adhered to.
- Timeous distribution of information and documentation to all parties.
Your profile
The ideal candidate must have a Technical or Commercial qualification and have experience in the Mechanical and Piping disciplines.Relevant Procurement experience of a minimum of 1-3 years in the petro-chemical industry is also required.
The successful candidate must be computer literate and must have SAP (Procurement) experience.
