PRIMARY SCOPE
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- On line quality control
- Routine inspection and testing as laid out for QC
- Process Auditing
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Testing and writing up of reports according to the QC specifications and procedures.
- Printed work passes off.
- Ensuring that all procedures for quality are adhered to and all products checked conform to approved specifications.
- Corrective and Preventative action.
- General laboratory duties- assist Laboratory Technicians in the lab when required.
- Outgoing inspections of production.
- Internal / external Audits
- Timely and prudent decision making
- Continuously improve the process and performance in the department
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Matric certificate
- Mathematics and Physical Sciences will be an advantage.
- Previous quality control experience within a Production environment
- Basic computer skills, working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of SPC would be advantageous
- Knowledge of ISO system such as ISO 9001 and ISO 2200
- Auditing techniques will be an advantage
