Responsibilities: Included but not limited to

• Performs a full range of professional dental treatment to include treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or preventive measures such as single and multiple tooth extractions, restoration of carious lesions with standard and prescribed material, prosthodontics such as crowns, dentures, and bridges
• Strictly adheres to patient safety standards.
• Documents patient treatment in the dental treatment record and MHS Genesis/Dentrix to enter patient-specific workload, readiness status and patient scheduling

Requirements & Experience:

• Shall be a graduate of an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA) with either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Shall possess a current, active, valid and unrestricted license in at least one of the 50 states, and/or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rice, or territories of the United States. The license must remain current, active, valid, and unrestricted throughout the life of any contract.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification is not required; however, providers possessing a DEA registration number (certificate) must provide documentation (Renewal is not mandatory)
• Shall have practiced dentistry for at least two years on a full time basis and have practiced for a minimum of one year within the past three years or be recent graduate of an accredited postgraduate dentistry training program
