Azure Engineer - Architecture & Operations (Openbank)

Mission and responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components to support our global banking platform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure for automated deployment and continuous integration of applications and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of applications running on Azure.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and availability of our platform.
• Drive best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in the Azure environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on Azure-related projects and initiatives.

What are we looking for in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• +3 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, including building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Ia C) principles and tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Power Shell or Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Engineer Expert.
• Experience working in the financial services industry or with regulatory compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
