Technical Expertise and Support Internship – Electrical protections data evaluation

About you and this role

We are looking for you, an ambitious Electrical Engineering student, to support our TES Electrical Team by doing an internship project for our location in Tarragona, Spain.

TES provides maintenance, process improvements, project execution and operations support via best-in-class technical solutions to Dow businesses. TES unleashes new collaborative power, to effectively and seamlessly optimize the contribution of Dow’s assets throughout their life cycle.

Responsibilities

Validate if the Electrical protection models of ETAP software are in accordance with the current protection parameters.
Implement the damage curves of the electrical equipment that appear in their data sheets and link the data sheets stored in our network with the ETAP model.

The intern will be guided by the Dow Electrical SME´s in Tarragona during all the project, and especially when deviations are identified, and corrections are needed to implement.

Qualifications

You are currently studying for a bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
You have a good working knowledge of Spanish and English.
Capacity to learn fast, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, and initiative.
