We are currently looking for a CGT Diagnosis Personnel to join the Diagnosis Department.
Educational background
The diagnosis personnel must possess a current license issued by the Country/State in which the laboratory is located, if such licensing is required.
The diagnosis testing personnel are responsible for performing tests and reporting the results.
Each individual performs only those high complexity tests that are authorized by the laboratory director or general supervisor and require a degree of skill commensurate with the individual's education, training or experience, and technical abilities.
Each individual performing high complexity testing must:
Learning Ability: Demonstrates the ability and curiosity to acquire new knowledge relevant to optimal daily work performance, with an inclination to share knowledge with other professionals in the company. Also demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
Proactivity: Takes initiative without external prompts, proposing, developing, and implementing new ideas or approaches.
Results Orientation: Is committed to achieving optimal results by setting challenging goals and maintaining high levels of efficiency aligned with company strategy, while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Responds quickly to organizational needs, directing efforts towards objectives with a focus on personal effectiveness.
Customer Focus: Actively collaborates with external (patients, suppliers) and internal customers, making significant efforts to provide excellent customer care. Identifies and meets customer demands and needs by utilizing available resources.
We work in a hybrid mode, and the candidate is required to join the team at the office in Valencia, Spain on a weekly basis.

We are currently looking for a CGT Diagnosis Personnel to join the Diagnosis Department.
Educational background
The diagnosis personnel must possess a current license issued by the Country/State in which the laboratory is located, if such licensing is required.
- Have earned a doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree in chemical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Have education and training equivalent to the above , with at least 3 months of documented laboratory training in each specialty in which the individual performs high-complexity testing.
- Experience in carrier genetic test performance and reporting will be valued.
- Experience in variant curation will be valued.
- Experience in bioinformatic analysis will be valued.
The diagnosis testing personnel are responsible for performing tests and reporting the results.
Each individual performs only those high complexity tests that are authorized by the laboratory director or general supervisor and require a degree of skill commensurate with the individual's education, training or experience, and technical abilities.
Each individual performing high complexity testing must:
- Follow the laboratory's procedures for test analyses, reviewing and maintaining records of patient test results.
- Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the general supervisor, or laboratory director.
- Document all non-conformities and corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
- Communicate professionally with clients in providing and retrieving necessary information required for testing (when required/needed). Guidance and client assistance with the tests offered, test ordering, and pre and post-analytical steps.
- Witnessing the analytical and post-analytical procedure (when required/needed) and ensure proper documentation (such as reports) is in place.
- Be capable of working on weekends and graveyard hours depending on the workload and specific circumstances.
- Be organized and responsible to ensure all laboratory testing is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Records keeping and quality control.
- Participation in Validation of new tests or test upgrades.
- Conducting molecular analysis techniques and interpretation of results using different platforms.
