Our Opportunity:

In the direction of the Information Systems, you will be integrated into an international team in charge of Thales Alenia Space’s ERP (SAP).
We are starting an ambitious project of migration of our ERP in Spain (MS Dynamics Axapta) towards global SAP.

Your role in this team will mainly concern the Finance & Procurement Domain (FI/CO/PS/MM/SD) and you will be in Spain the Thales Alenia Space SAP Support Function country referent which will be in charge to manage Spain migration project around Finance and Procurement domain and ensure after proper SAP service delivery in the country.

What the role has to offer:
Throughout your mission, you will work closely with the different business teams and the network of key users who are in the different countries where Thales Alenia Space is established (mainly France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and UK).
The position will be based in Madrid, so punctual travelling to our different entities is expected during SAP project migration and once SAP is fully deployed in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:


You will be the referent of the existing applications on Support Function domain. As such:

• You will ensure a proper service delivery by external subcontractor providing support for the local applications, as well as implementing mandatory and high ROI evolutions.
• You will ensure in close collaboration with business that evolutions proposed are in line with SAP migration strategy.
• You will participate in the entire general and detailed design phase where you will be responsible for the proper implementation of our Core Model SAP in Spain.
• You will coordinate the migration of data from existing systems to SAP.
• Main responsibilities after SAP migration project:
• You will collect, analyze, challenge and implement the needs of internal customers in order to consolidate the Core Model SAP solution and the interfaces with other applications.
• You will manage projects in the field, from design to deployment, in compliance with the SAP standard, in a transnational context and in integration with other areas (finance, procurement, timesheet, project management)
• You will be responsible for support activities, maintenance, and training of the solution to users.

About You:

• Good interpersonal skills, assertiveness, listening and communication skills

• Analytical qualities coupled with a good spirit of synthesis.
• 5 years as SAP FI/CO/PS/MM/SD consultant with mastery of customization

• Experience of a migration project
• Experience working abroad or in a multicultural team
