Business Manager - Commercial&Operations

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead financial and operational processes and transactions to optimize financial performance for B&R in Spain. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. Ensuring legal compliance within all customer relation in close collaboration with legal and integrity. Responsible for local sales reporting, budget, forecast and risk management within the ABB/B&R framework. Coordination of quality related topics with the global quality department and ensuring highest quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions. You will be mainly accountable for: • Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective site. • Serving as the key partner to local managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting, as needed. • Ensuring the production of reports (e.g. Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, statement of account, reconciliations, statements of sourcing and application of funds) • Ensuring the fulfillment of the Spanish Tax obligations. Preparation and supervision of forms for the Public Administration. • Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal and external customers to identify improvement areas work quality and efficiency for your area of responsibility. • Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. • Ensures risk management processes are consistently implemented in accordance with ABB/B&R frameworks. • Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility. Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in Accounting (Spanish and US-GAAP General Accounting Plan), Spanish taxes management.
• Profound background in finance, legal and controlling.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in Financial Analysis, Performance management, Data Analysis, Risk Management and Internal Control.
• You have 5 years of experience in sales supporting and finance function.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP System and reporting & controls platforms.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and working effectively in a global and cooperative environment.
• Experience in coordinating people. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Degree according to the background of the position.
• You are at ease and fluent communicating in English and Spanish.
• You hold current licenses valid in Spain .
