You really must have…
- Insurance Expertise: 5+ years of experience that demonstrate understanding of various insurance products, policies, and coverages. This is crucial for joining us as an Insurance Specialist!
- Experience in life and health insurance is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English - even though the whole recruitment process is in English, as is Coverflex's official language, you will need to be fluent in Spanish as well.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent proven track record of interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to empathise with clients' needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess policy details, interpret coverage terms, and make informed recommendations.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate terms with insurance partners to secure advantageous placements for clients.
- Team Player Spirit: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment and across departments.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow.
- Adaptability: you are comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving industry. Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the insurance landscape
- Certifications: Relevant insurance certifications or licences
The Role
- As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, handling insurance renewals, engaging with clients on insurance-related matters, coordinating placements with insurance partners, and providing vital support to the sales team. Your in-depth knowledge of insurance products and exceptional communication skills will contribute to the overall success of our insurance operations.
These are just some examples of the tasks you will be performing on a day to day basis:
- Client Engagement: Communicate with clients to provide information, guidance, and assistance on insurance-related queries. Build strong and lasting relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Insurance Renewals: Manage the renewal process by assessing clients' needs, reviewing policies, and coordinating with insurance partners to secure timely renewals.
- Placement with Insurance Partners: collaborate with insurance partners to place policies that align with clients' requirements. Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes.
- Sales Team Support: Act as a valuable resource for the sales team, offering your expertise in insurance products and regulations to assist in client acquisition and deal closing.
- Policy Analysis: Analyse insurance policies to ensure they provide adequate coverage for clients' risks. Make recommendations for adjustments or enhancements as needed.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policy details, and any relevant communication. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging insurance products. Share insights with the team to contribute to strategic planning.
- Problem Resolution: Address client concerns, inquiries, and claims in a prompt and efficient manner. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to resolve issues effectively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, including sales,account management and customer support to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Training and Development: Continuously expand your knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and best practices. Share expertise with colleagues through training sessions and mentoring.
