What You Will Do:
- Drive security maturity through relationship building with engineering teams and promoting Dev Sec Ops excellence
- Empower teams to maintain and improve infrastructure security by implementing data driven security dashboards
- Support Engineering teams in risk identification and remediation, including security architecture reviews and threat modeling
- Contribute to the design and delivery of security training and help expand the security team knowledge base repository
- Provide information security subject matter expertise in support of business initiatives
- Contribute to the development of security policies and standards, and ensure their effective implementation
- Independently deliver and/or collaborate on the preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation
Your Qualifications:

- 5+ year experience in Application Security
- Track record of delivering technical projects, and implementing security products in a highly technical environment
- Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud Security, especially Web Application Firewall principles
- Experience driving Software Secure Development Lifecycle and Dev Sec Ops
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques
- Ability to write scripts/code in languages such as Python, Java Script to automate tasks and security assessment
- Effective Communication both verbally and in writing
- Detail-oriented, critical thinker who excels both in collaboration and independent work
Nice to Have:
- Relevant industry certifications from SANS, ISC2, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
- Understanding of compliance standards and data regulation requirements strongly preferred
- Previous experience working with peers asynchronously
