Barcelona
FULL TIME
September 11, 2024
Team: Data Operations
Country: Spain
Remote Work Available: Yes
At the heart of Veeva are our values: Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.
As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.
Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.
The Role
Veeva Link envisions building connected data applications to improve research and patient outcomes. Link Medical Insight is a product that captures, reveals, and disseminates medical insights across the enterprise, enabling medical teams to refine strategy based on scientific insights.
As a Medical Specialist, you will apply rule-based curation on medical notes. As an integral part of our data operations team, you will collaborate regularly with data analysts and quality control team members. With your expertise, we will ensure that our curated medical notes provide value and the highest quality standards to our clients, the biggest pharma and life sciences companies worldwide.
To thrive in this role, you need an academic background in medicine or life sciences and can quickly grasp new concepts. Additionally, you are a fast learner, detail-oriented, and highly motivated with a “can do” attitude. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and can deliver high-quality results within a rigid timeline. You are comfortable working remotely in an international environment.
We care about a great cultural fit. You should enjoy working at speed in multicultural teams. If you are excited about data, Life Sciences, and working for a fast-growing tech company, we are the optimal fit.
We invite you to work remotely from any area within this country. However, it's a prerequisite that you already reside in this country and hold legal work authorization without needing an employer's support.
If you plan to move to this country or live nearby, we may still consider your application if you're a superb fit for the role. In such scenarios, kindly supply an extra document that outlines your impending or current location, visa status, and the reasons that make you an excellent fit.
Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
As an equal opportunity employer, Veeva is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and growing a diverse workforce. Diversity makes us stronger. It comes in many forms. Gender, race, ethnicity, religion, politics, sexual orientation, age, disability and life experience shape us all into unique individuals. We value people for the individuals they are and the contributions they can bring to our teams.
If you need assistance or accommodation due to a disability or special need when applying for a role or in our recruitment process, please contact us at talent_accommodations@veeva.com.
Work Anywhere does not mean work at any time. We have predictable core hours where employees are generally available for meetings and collaboration. Employees are focused and available during core hours.
We invest in our offices to make them places where our employees like to go. If you work in the office three or more days a week, you will have a dedicated office workspace. Our offices function as hubs to draw people in, create social bonds, and where random connections and mixing of ideas happen. We’re investing more in offices, culture, and offsite meetings, not less.
Product teams are organized in regional product hubs for optimal collaboration and live within a time zone of their hub. Our current product hubs are located in Pleasanton, Columbus, Boston, Kansas City, New York City, Raleigh, and Toronto. We create opportunities for teams to get together in person regularly.
Customer-facing roles, such as Sales and Professional Services, live near and/or travel to their customers.
When an employee moves within a country it does not cause a change in salary. Where you live impacts you and your family. Not knowing if your compensation will change if you move can cause stress and uncertainty for everyone. We wanted to eliminate that.
Work at Veeva. Work where it’s best for you.
