We are currently looking for an experienced Post Producer (freelancer) to join our team.
Not open for remote work, this position must be based in Barcelona.
Barcelona locals & Europeans open to relocation will be given priority.
Duties and responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities:
- Post-produce projects in coordination with other staff to ensure the smooth and optimum use of resources.
- Raise quotes and manage schedules of the projects.
- Negotiate project pricing with prospective clients.
- Understand and interpret client briefs
- Understand the creative scope of projects in order to deliver outstanding work.
- Maintain good relationships and communication with clients at all stages.
- Providing cost estimations and bids. Log costs, spend and profit on a project-by-project basis.
- Working with the VFX Supervisor in bidding new projects.
- Developing project schedules and planning their implementation.
- Budget an entire project accurately and make sure it’s kept within that budget
- Monitoring the project progress to ensure that budgetary and scheduling targets are being met.
- Working with the Supervisor in evaluating and hiring staff.
- Interfacing with clients regarding budgetary and scheduling issues.
- Understanding of the animation and postproduction processes and workflows.
- Significant experience as a Post Producer in an established advertising facility.
- In-depth knowledge of a CGI production workflow and of general film postproduction.
- Business acumen and an ability to balance financial responsibilities and negotiations.
- Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organization skills, ability to take initiative, problem solve, manage time and work to tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
- Advance knowledge of Shotgrid software (or similar)
- Ability to motivate team members and to solve problems efficiently and patiently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
- Eligible to work in Spain
