Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders by working closely with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfillment. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, manufacturing suppliers, and the design team.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of manufactured products, addressing recurring issues, and communicating feedback to the design department for verification and improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing suppliers, the design department, and the structural calculation department to ensure all project materials are delivered on time.
• Align manufacturing timelines with client delivery dates to meet project deadlines.
• Provide both on-site and remoted support.
• Be available to travel to Europe to collaborate directly with manufacturing suppliers and clients.
• Facilitate meetings with suppliers and the design team to make informed decisions on manufacturing processes, occasionally based on client-specific requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections at supplier factories to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Provide the design and calculation teams with insights and solutions based on frequent quality issues observed on-site.
• Provide remote support via phone or email to clients, distributors, and contractors, offering timely solutions to their inquiries.
• Log all communication and reports into the appropriate system.
• Assess the need for site visits and coordinate accordingly.
• Collaborate with the internal design department to discuss and implement potential solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and workflows.
• Analysis of design and manufacturing capacities and times.
• Control of manufacturing costs according to the objectives of each project.

Skills and Competencies

• Willingness and ability to travel throughout Europe.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with suppliers and clients.
• Ability to train others on technical aspects and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, particularly Microsoft Project.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

Experience and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, with an emphasis on plumbing, civil works, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting and preparing technical drawings using Auto CAD.
• Proven project management capabilities, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Adept at problem-solving and troubleshooting within diverse business cultures.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing processes.
