How will you make an impact in this role?
Great opportunities come with great responsibilities. Working in our Early Development team, you will focus on expanding and retaining Spanish Business SBS clients. It requires creativity, entrepreneurship coupled with all the traits that make Sales Professionals successful.
Who we are and what we do?
The OPC SBS team in Madrid is part of the International Card Services organization. Our team is focused on acquiring, expanding, and retaining SBS customers for American Express, targeting businesses in the Spanish market, partnering with business owners in managing their finances, improve cash flow and stay in control of everyday expenses. Together, we’ll win as a team, striving to uphold our powerful backing promise to our customers and each other every day. And we’ll do it in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they truly belong.
As we continue to grow our team in Madrid, we are looking for an Early Development to join our #Team Amex.
How you will enable our customers and our teams to achieve great results:
- This position will be responsible for new Business customers during the first 13 months. With a telephone management, this position will contact new clients identifying opportunities to accelerate and increase the card spend.
- Expansion activities have the aim to outline available spending categories, remind about our products benefits and do cross selling activities (supplementary cards, upgrades, insurance…).
- Coordinate internally with our risk, credit and new account teams to resolve any processing issues
- Ensuring premium value is delivered aligned with client goals, delivering a positive customer experience and customer advocacy achievement
- The successful candidate will proactively manage an effective pipeline, identifying and prioritizing accounts in order to reach assigned targets in terms of book charge volume uplift, account growth and attrition
Minimum Qualifications
- Call experience essential.
- Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook and clear focus on achieving and exceeding targets and goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to tailor message to a high interlocutor profile.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Challenger mindset with the ability to think creatively to identify new business opportunities.
- Desire to learn new concepts and dive deeper into details to become a subject matter expert.
- Well organized, with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members in different roles.
- Good level of English (spoken and written) will be valued
