Senior Application Security Engineer - Cybersecurity (ODS)

Mission and responsibilities:
The Application Security Engineer (ASE) ensures that products are secure from threats and vulnerabilities throughout their build lifecycle. This role focuses on Threat Modeling, Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), and proper reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Strengthen Threat Modeling and SSDLC capabilities using key market tools for our development teams.
• Enhance Product capabilities and automate reporting processes.
• Work directly with development teams to ensure the SSDLC process aligns with our workflows in an automated manner, making the secure path the easiest to adopt.
• Develop the "Security Champion" role within development teams to scale security practices to thousands of developers.

To be successful in the role you must have:

• Solid software development experience, especially in Java and Python.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, including Lambda and Cloud Formation. Other Clouds will be valued.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SAST, DAST, and IAST.
• Studies related to Cybersecurity are a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with development teams and stakeholders in English and Spanish.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
