Senior Business Developer

In enhancing our services and continued growth, we are seeking talented and motivated people to incorporate to our technical consultancy office. The expected function and responsibilities involve:
- Competitive analysis. Understanding of the global framework related to sustainability, decarbonization and digitalization and its affection to process industries in our selected markets. Support the evaluation of company’s position to identify weaknesses and strengths.
- Leads generation. Support the definition and implementation of strategies for new clients, including participation in events. Preparation of marketing material and presentations.
- Client relations. Understanding of actual customer’s needs, offering adequate solutions to face their challenges. Elaboration of technical and commercial proposals.
- Internal collaboration. Collaboration with other teams within the company to gain a full understanding of the services and products offering.
Below we explain the main skills that we look for this position:
- A master’s degree in engineering or analogous, which support your experience in process industries.
- Knowledge of industrial installations in the context of process industries.
- Experiences in the fields of industrial digitalization, sustainability or decarbonization.
- Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent team work.
- Being fluent in Spanish and English. On one hand, many of our clients are in Spanish and non-Spanish speaking countries, and on the other hand our work requires day-to-day collaboration – in English – with other AFRY offices.
- French language is an advantage.
- Driving license.
- Willingness to travel.
Due to our business growth, we are looking for great people to join our team in Zaragoza or Madrid, in this role, you will join a well-structured team.
We work as an integrated company, in close and direct interaction with our global office network. We are currently implementing projects in Spain and other geographies, i.e. Europe, Latin America, i.a. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience to become an industry specialist within a stimulating and supportive environment.
You will join AFRY Process Industries division has +4300 team players in 14 countries. We serve our clients in core business sectors Pulp & Paper, Chemicals & Biorefining and Mining & Metals as well as in new growth sectors like Batteries, Hydrogen and in Circular industry including plastics and textiles.
We offer technical consulting, engineering and project management services but also develop new smart solutions in the areas of Industrial digitalization (AFRY Smart Site), Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Operational efficiency and transformation.
