Area/Department description
Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.Since 2002, we have developed different projects at a global level helping companies and public administrations with innovative, sustainable and human solutions and services. Your mission
- Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to key stakeholders and colleagues involved in the project.
- Supervising construction workers and overseeing the hiring process for subcontractors.
- Monitoring the materials that are required for each phase of the project, and informing the project management team if additional purchases are required.
- Ensuring that the project is progressing in line with the defined timescales.
- Overseeing health and safety inspections to the required standard.
- Checking site reports, designs and drawings to ensure that the project is being correctly executed.
- Maintaining quality control checks to a high standard.
- Addressing and resolving any issues onsite that may arise, escalating to the appropriate stakeholders or departments where required.
- Working onsite in Cambridge on a full time basis (5 days per week).
Your profile
- Level 6 Civil Engineering Site Management degree, NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience working within the UK construction sector, particularly with solar PV and BESS projects.
- Good initiative and logical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously.
